Do you want to keep your hands warm and your fingers free for texting or driving (but NEVER at the same time!)? Learn simple cable technique and mattress stitch seaming to create fingerless gloves. Worsted weight yarn is used to create something that is both warm and functional. This is an advanced beginner class. Participants should be familiar with simple knit and purl stitching.* *Many projects cannot be finished within one class session. Unravel the mysteries of sock knitting on double pointed needles. From cuff to toe we’ll knit our way through a basic sock pattern, and you will leave with one completed sock (fast knitters will begin a second sock). This class is appropriate for advanced beginners; experience knitting on double points is helpful.
